OLYMPIA V80 VTL PROJECT
Service projects completed for major Steel Casting machine shop and Tier 1 One supplier to a construction equipment manufacturer in Michigan, USA. The service projects included the following:
- Supervision of the removal, transportation, installation, repair and relocation of Two Olympia V80 Vertical Turning Centers to Michigan from Ohio and Maine.
- Inspection and rebuilding transmission gearbox on Olympia V80 including onsite.
- Supply, installation and integration of new one Cross rail drives from ABB (Obsolete) to EATON for Cross rail elevating system on the Olympia V80
- Geometry repair on cross rail and fitting of cross rail to columns
- PM service on ball screws, rams, lube system, tool changers and hydraulic system.
- Supply and install new chip conveyor, new MPG Unit, & Fanuc Spindle Drive
KURAKI KBT 11WXD HBM PROJECT
Machinery Supply and service projects completed for major Service Repair Center for Turbo equipment in Ontario. The service projects included the following:
- Machinery consulting service to locate used CNC HBM to replace older manual machine
- Foundation design recommendation
- Supervision and installation of One KURAKI KBT-11 CNC boring mill
- Geometry repair on site to repair X-axis table slides.
- Supply new angle plates and angle head with extension
- CNC programmer and operator training
Dooson DMV 6025 Geometry Rebuild
Onsite geometry rebuild for custom machine shop in southern Ontario on a Doosan DMV 6025 VMC for X and Y axis. Project included:
- Machine disassembly, remove old Turcite, prepare saddles, gibs and keeper plates
- Turcite procurement and installation of new Turcite
- Machining, hand scraping and geometry correction
- Machine assembly, testing and qualify geometry to like new tolerances
